As we call it in the deep south, Voodoo! The magic these four little sub isolators have worked out in my system kept me picking my jaw off the floor! They just have no right to positively transform my overall musical presentation’s bottom-to-top bandwidth like they do! If you have any interest in what the AUVA-SW Sub Isolators did to my ears (and potentially can yours), please allow me to elaborate below.

With 25 years in music study, degree, performance, and teaching, I found my passion for fidelity music reproduction, one that I have perused for the past half century! Currently, in my fine-tuned dynamic speaker 2-channel audio system (LAiV uDAC, feeding Starkrimson GaNFET power amp, powering reference RAAL 3-way tower speakers and musical Axiom EP500 12” powered sub), my dedicated music room has allowed me to achieve fidelity soundstage realism that is consistently mind-blowing. There has been steady learning and sonic gains with every aspect of my system during these years (going pure digital, CD transport to external DAC, AUVA 50s and EQs, etc.) and to my ears, I had everything and wanted for nothing in listening session auditory fidelity bliss! THEN, these SWs showed up at my door!?!

Now, the fast, tight, tuneful bass response is even More impactful and much richer with better defined texture, pitch, and tonality! Though I did not associate sonic issues before, with the AUVA SW isolators installed, any bass ringing and bloom have disappeared and articulation, clarity, depth, PRaT, and note identification have solidly reigned in! Having only a single sub (left of the left tower, 40Hz LP), now find its sonic integration with the full-range towers and overall center phantom soundstage blends seamlessly, creating the sub total disappearance. Much of this sonic bass improvement was not expected, but certainly very welcomed!!

I still have trouble understanding how and why, but an even “bigger surprise” arose (Totally Unexpected). After the first 30 minutes, the SW isolators settled in to their new home and the Soundstage width, depth and height started changing? After the first hour of break-in, the soundstage 3-D holographic presentations grew at-least 50% more (was huge before), with much more realistic and refined air, body and spatial definition to vocalist, instrumentalist, strings, keyboards and percussionist…Totally Mind-Blowing! Imaging fidelity is more precise, more believable, and more natural, All allowing the system and room to even better disappear, placing Me, the Performers and the Music inside the recorded venue! Lagniappe (another Cajun saying)…I am now totally in Audio Nirvana!!
