I bought my Rel s510 because it was touted to pair very well with my Harbeths. And it did until I put Auva under the Harbeths. They became so delicate and nuanced that I relegated the lowest 35hz to be slightly overrepresented and boomy, which was fine because it’s rare that an instrument goes that low.

“The new Auva subwoofer isolators are truly excellent. It isn’t easy to position them perfectly beneath the kc62 but that is die to the kefs, not the isolators. They are a massive improvement over the isoacoustics sub-200s I used for my two kc62s before. The main difference is in bass presences which is much more modest, in the most positive way possible. It is there but it isn’t loud and obnoxious anymore.”

I still have trouble understanding how and why, but an even “bigger surprise” arose (Totally Unexpected). After the first 30 minutes, the SW isolators settled in to their new home and the Soundstage width, depth and height started changing? After the first hour of break-in, the soundstage 3-D holographic presentations grew at-least 50% more (was huge before), with much more realistic and refined air, body and spatial definition to vocalist, instrumentalist, strings, keyboards and percussionist…Totally Mind-Blowing! Imaging fidelity is more precise, more believable, and more natural, All allowing the system and room to even better disappear, placing Me, the Performers and the Music inside the recorded venue! Lagniappe (another Cajun saying)…I am now totally in Audio Nirvana!!“

“I installed SWs and experienced a change. Very profound change as well. The amount of cleaning of vibrations and interference done by SWs must have been huge, as I enjoy more life-like music, instruments, feel of recording space, depth etc, etc… and it is so true, that the rest of the frequencies are affected by the subs. Illusion of being there….

I appreciate that all that change is a sum of different elements, in my case, all settling in and producing the rewards, but the jump in quality was easily detectable right after I had fitted SWs. Without a doubt this set contributed a lot to my new enjoyment level. Happy place.”
