When I learned that Stack was making an isolation platform, I knew that I would order one immediately. This is rare for me, but everything I’ve purchased from  Stack Audio has performed way above its price range and has had a very positive effect. Stack clearly works on engineering and not “woo”. So it’s a bit ironic that it has such a great effect on my Woo Audio WA 22. There is a precision to the sound, where mid-range detail really starts to emerge very organically. The result is greater detail without any sort of treble boost, and this is combined with a general deepening of silence between notes. It’s great because this is where tube gear already excels, so it brings out the best voicing of tubes without making them sound any more “tubey” in a negative sense.

As expected, the build quality is flawless, and appears to be more robust than its price would indicate. It was extremely easy to level, and once levelled, it was completely stable under load. I wish I had a Technics SP 10, a Brinkman, or something similar to test it with, since those tables do really well from what I understand with this type of isolation!”
