NEW: SERENE ALTO+ Sub chassis for LP12

Stack Audio are pleased to announce the launch of our new
Alto+ Sub-chassis, designed specifically to work with standard Linn arm boards. Traditional laminated arm boards can be a weak point on the LP12 with the three screw connections becoming loose and over time and potential warping. The Alto+ Sub-chassis is machined from solid aluminium with a carefully designed centre of balance and the rigidity of a honeycomb structure. In addition, it has several
features designed to compensate for the potential weaknesses of a wooden arm board, including:

·   4 additional screw points to hold the arm board
flat and in place

·   Wooden arm boards can be adhered to the sub-chassis
for maximum rigidity

·  Fully compatible with Stack Audio SERENE Alto
arm board (Linn mount only)

The existing Alto sub-chassis continues in the range and is compatible
with all Alto arm boards in Rega, SME and Linn mounts. 

NEW: innovative AUVA feet for the SERENE Alto and Soprano baseboards

We are also bringing the AUVA vibration absorbing technology from our new range of loudspeaker isolators to the SERENE Alto and Soprano baseboard feet. These new feet will be supplied with all future orders of the Alto and Soprano baseboards as standard and are available as a retro-fit upgrade for existing Alto and Soprano baseboards. Existing owners who are interested should contact Stack Audio directly.

SERENE LP12 Tenor discontinuation

We have reluctantly taken the decision to cease production of the entry level SERENE Tenor range of LP12 upgrades along with the Alto cross-brace. The aim of the Tenor range was always to offer significant sonic improvements at an affordable price. Over the lifetime of the range, we have received numerous emails from happy customers reinforcing that goal. Sadly, due to significant cost increases it is no longer possible to maintain the price point. Having now sold our existing stock we are withdrawing Tenor range from sale. We are also in the same position with the Alto cross-brace. 

SOPRANO Price Change

As we all know too well, raw material and energy costs are increasing significantly and whilst we have worked hard to absorb these increases some price increases have now become unavoidable. So far, we have been able to keep the prices of the Alto range consistent since the launch 2 years ago and we will continue to maintain them for as long as we can. Unfortunately, we do have to raise the prices of the SOPRANO plinth and Sub-chassis, both of which are large aluminium precision-machined parts. The new prices effective are Plinth 2916 ex vat, 3500 inclusive of vat  and Sub-chassis 1540 ex VAT 1850 inclusive of VAT.
