“The AUVAs make quite a difference to the sound of the Sibelius. There is more air and decay with slight loss to the density of the sound. Bass is cleaner and textured. Vocals become very clear as everything suddenly snaps into focus. The Paul Rigby review described it well.

With the Townshend podiums it’s a more relaxed presentation with more body but lacked the extra focus, air and decay making it a bit laid back. There is more bass but slightly less clean. Soundstage is big but instrument separation is not as distinct as the AUVAs.”
